To me, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing people harness their own innate ability to heal, learn and grow.
Teaching the evidence based program of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction bridges my passion for western psychological science and the eastern mind body techniques for healing and personal growth.

CURRENT STUDY
I experienced the inner capacity for healing that we all have, when I lived in a yoga ashram for 7 years. Immersed in the eastern mind body techniques of yoga and meditation, I calmed my anxious nervous system and discovered an inner source of wellbeing and resilience.
Over the last 15 years I have taught yoga, meditation and mindfulness in a range of settings such as retreats, teacher training courses, workplaces and community classes. As a counsellor, I’ve also taught in clinical settings and trauma sensitive populations.
I understand the obstacles and pitfalls to learning mindfulness, and know how to facilitate an easy, enjoyable learning experience.
